Homework: Reflection on Active Learning, Gagne, and Prezi

First, you all did a nice job working on your Gagne Prezi's. Be sure to visit yoiur colleagues blogs and check out each groups Prezi's!

Today, we discussed the importance of designing active learning environments using Gagne's 9 Events of Instruction. We talked about creating several different interactions in the classroom (3) that support the construction of knowledge in different ways.

To Do:
1. Write a reflection on your thoughts of how using Gagne's design model and the importance of each of the 3 interaction types help create an active learning environment. Why might you use one type of interaction vs another?

2. Then look at the ISTE NETS standards (either for teachers or students) and describe how using Prezi might meet 1 or more of the standards.

Reflection is due next Thursday, by midnight.
